Thirty-seven Taiwanese startups have been selected for 2026 FINDIT Speed Dating, a fundraising-focused matchmaking session taking place in Taipei on September 1.

The format is deliberately short: selected companies enter a series of 10-minute one-to-one conversations with investors, with FINDIT expecting around 30 domestic and international investment institutions to participate.

For investors watching Taiwan’s early-stage market, the more interesting part is the company list itself.

Every applicant had to be an operating technology startup at or before Series B, submit a business plan and provide one fundraising proposal as part of the selection process.

That makes the cohort a useful fundraising signal — although not proof that every company will still have an open round by September.

37 companies across three sectors

FINDIT grouped the selected startups into three broad categories.

The Smart Hardware & Software group includes companies such as NeuinX, Everise Digital, FanInsights, Wonlai AI, Axourdia, LongLink Solutions, OSENSE Technology and others.

The Sustainable Commerce category includes Prinsur Tech, Mana AI, 4Water Technology, Wecan Strategy, Xiangyao Green Energy, FLEXWAVE and other companies working across energy, sustainability and digital services.

A substantial part of the cohort is also concentrated in Biotech & Healthcare, including KONOS Biomedical, T-ACE Medical, Oncogen.AI, Enlighten BioMedicine, CardioRenix Health, Cell Envision Biotech and VIRPHYSIO Medtech.

That mix gives investors exposure to both Taiwan’s established hardware and software strengths and a sizeable group of life-science companies.

The investor side is equally relevant

The official investor lineup spans angel groups, venture funds, corporate investors and strategic organisations.

Participants listed by the organiser include Addin Ventures, AVA Angels, B Current Impact Investment, CDIB Capital Group, Chunghwa Investment, Cornerstone Ventures and Darwin Ventures, among others. Their stated investment interests range from AI and SaaS to climate technology, healthcare, semiconductors and deeptech.

Several also invest across borders.

For example, Cornerstone Ventures explicitly considers international teams planning to enter Taiwan, while Taipei Medical University’s Biomed Accelerator lists investments involving startups from Sweden, France and the United States as well as Taiwan.

What this does — and does not — tell investors

Selection for FINDIT is a useful signal that a startup was actively preparing to raise capital when it applied.

It is not the same as confirming a currently open investment round.

The organiser required each applicant to submit a fundraising proposal and pitch materials, but it does not publish each company’s target amount, valuation, instrument, remaining allocation or current closing date.

SAKIME would therefore not classify all 37 companies automatically as Companies Seeking Investment.

Instead, the list is a dealflow source: individual companies can be re-verified separately, and those with confirmed ongoing fundraising can then enter SAKIME’s investment-opportunity coverage.

FINDIT says its matchmaking activities have generated 84 investment cases and approximately NT$1.927 billion in investment since 2016. In 2025, 34 startups and 31 investment institutions participated, with one startup subsequently reported as receiving investment.

The 2026 session takes place on September 1 from 14:00 to 17:00 at the NTUH International Convention Center in Taipei. Attendance is restricted to selected startups and investors.
